Profile of the Week: Aunders Hallsten

Sports: Hockey and Track
Greatest Athletic Achievement:
·         Winning state in hockey junior year
·         Taking 2nd place in the 3200m run in track as a sophomore.
Who do you look up to and why?
Aunders looks up to Eric Oram (PHS Strength Training Instructor), and NHL player Peter Forsberg. He says Oram is the most well-rounded athlete he knows, and admires his ability to always give 110%. Aunders also says Forsberg plays every shift in hockey like it’s his last shift.
What do you do to maximize your potential?
Aunders uses every opportunity and more to maximize his potential improvement.
What’s next?
·         Goal is to be state champ in the 800m, 1600m, and 3200m, and to make state in the 4x800m run for the next two years.
·         Repeat as state champs in hockey next year.
·         Go to the Cross Fit Games
·         Continue to improve greatly in all areas
·         Play hockey and/or track in college
